Poetry

I yearn for one who cherishes my soul,
Whose empathy pours forth, deep and whole.
A heart that beats in rhythm with mine,
Whose gaze reflects only love’s design.

In this kingdom, I am his domain,
His sovereign right, my heart’s refrain.
May this bond endure beyond time’s span,
Even death’s cruel hand shall not undo our plan.

What is death but a fleeting breath?
Let us depart together, defying death.
If he precedes me in that silent sleep,
My trust in words will cease to keep.

Yet, in the realms where shadows tread,
He shall rest in peace, his spirit led.
And I, forsaken in this mortal world,
Shall call to him, my whispers swirled.

With every breath, my soul will yearn,
For his heart’s response, for its return.
I wish to love him as none before,
Every flaw adored, his essence I implore.

Let no other hear when I speak my plea,
For only his ear shall comfort me.
He will hide me from the world’s harsh gaze,
Our love, a secret the universe can’t raise.

In passion’s depths, together we shall fall,
Two souls entwined, in love’s sweet thrall.
One name shall echo, from lips unspoken,
And our memory shall remain unbroken.

When he looks, only I shall appear,
A vision of love, tender and clear.
He will accept my gifts, his eyes aglow,
As I rest in his arms, the world below.

Our love, unmatched, shall reign supreme,
A tale of devotion, a sacred dream.
