Minnal Mir Khetran
Introduction
Minnal Mir Khetran, a girl lost in a dreamland; bold.
Floating gently above ocean’s breeze.
Crashing waves with hidden secrets,
Under the ocean’s veil.
Emotions tangled like roots of willow trees.
Find their way to words that slowly breathe.
Revelations upon her heart to speak,
Say the truth under the warmth of the sun,
And slowly breathe.
She breaks the silence,
A caged melody sung.
Vicious external episodes,
Always cease.
A girl’s stormy thoughts; internal grief.
Words conquer the silence.
The night still deep,
A girl reborn, Bathing in light of a new chapter’s dawn.

The Quest for Reasons
The answers to some questions in life, lie in the actions lie in the actions of a person. The reasons that we seek, the silver linings that we desperately want to see, the hidden messages that we simply try to figure out may simply not exist in words that we want to hear. Do not forget, “No response is a response.” The words that you desperately want to hear maybe disguised in the actions that you purposely chose to ignore. That one subtle glance, that uncalled for expression, that so called occupation that kept them for getting back to you for days on end.
The quest for reasons may never end, for we always look for reasons in the wrong place.
Running In Time
No matter how much you march forward,
No matter how much you leave everything behind,
There’s always this one time,
You come back.
Running in time,
Hoping, You’re in a better place than you used to be.
That moment in time,
When everything started to decline.
Friends felt like distant acquaintances,
You, yourself felt like a blurry line.
You, yourself were a moment in time.
You became your own acquaintance,
Not knowing who you’re anymore.
Friends like foes.
Everything goes down,
Like a non-existent home.
What have you done?
Where have you been?
Why are you distant to
Your own being?
The Winged One
Oh! The Winged One,
Free and flying–
While the rest,
They stay confined–
We rise high:
No death or divide–
Every high must fall below the tide–
If they wonder, then they were right,
We speak of freedom that exists beyond this confine–
